The boundary of the property includes the Dordogne River surrounded by a small copse, which is fun for playing games and even better for cutting the trees down for use in the two wood burners in the house. The river is reached by walking down the garden and then descending through the wooded copse. The house will never be at risk of floods as it is positioned high on the property’s land. After walking down the garden there is a gate and you follow a windy descending path, which slopes down approximately 16 metres, to get to the banks of the river where under the shade of the cool trees a picnic is bliss.
When we first arrived here my husband sat on a garden chair in the river, drinking a beer and realised he had found utopia!

Your house is truly paradise. I am a retired United Airlines pilot and would like very much to move to just such a place.
I own a patio home in Tempe, Arizona that I would gladly trade at a very good price in addition to paying you cash for whatever difference might remain. Arizona may not interest you, but I can only ask, eh?
Thank you for your time.
Richard Roderick
Hi Richard.. thanks for the contact.. agree no harm in asking, but sadly Arizona is not the place we wish to be.
Take care.. Diana
